Millevaches Natural Park: the heart of your nature stay in Corrèze

Natura 2000 site, Millevaches or a thousand springs… it is here between peat bogs, moors and streams, thorny forests and heath carpets, that you will encounter remarkable fauna and flora.

A land of legends, but also a land of hikes where Gallo-Roman remains and monumental crosses serve as landmarks in immensely magical landscapes.

From the campsite, the Gates of the Plateau begin from Meymac (20 minutes), where you can admire or explore Mont Bessou and its panoramic tower at 1000 meters high, offering breathtaking views of the Monts du Cantal and Auvergne.

The Millechaves PNR is also recognized as an International Dark Sky Reserve (IDSR), a rare spectacle in a region without light and noise pollution.

Our favourite:

A discovery that was a huge surprise for us, an outing for everyone with lively family trails, to more sporty hikes. We were amazed by this vast natural territory in a breathtaking fullness.
